Volkswagen launches Polo hatchback

German car maker Volkswagen on Tuesday launched its much anticipated hatchback Polo in the Indian market.The new car will be available with a 1.2 litre engine in both petrol and diesel variants.While the petrol variant of the small car will come at a price starting from Rs 4.34 lakh, the diesel one has a base price tag of Rs 5.32 lakh.The delivery of the petrol variant will begin from March, while the diesel variant will hit the roads in May.
